Yoga Community Class at Sekolah Kami, Bekasi. About 100 Students Having Fun Doing Yoga!

Last Thursday, on October 31, Karmarati Yoga “People” were conducting a community class at Sekolah Kami, Bekasi Barat (West Bekasi), Indonesia.
This is a school for children from families who collect garbages as their main job (the children also do some work after school). This independent school does very well in providing free education to these unfortunate children.

About 100 students attended the yoga sessions on Thursday morning. They were divided into two big groups with a mix of age groups (from 5 years old to 15 years old). The energy level was high that morning, maybe because they anticipated an excitement of doing yoga again (they did a class a few years back).
And yes, we all were having lots of fun! Doing poses individually, also in partners, also in groups - the students got to laugh and let go. They did make fun of their friends and the teachers as well, they were all out!

Lovely atmosphere, beautiful souls, wonderful place. If you are interested to volunteer and join such program with us, please contact us at yogapeople.karmarati@gmail.com. We are delighted to receive such interests!

Here are some pictures of the sessions. See their expressions. Feel their energy. Feel their love. What do we have to complain about?

Pay it forward.

Peace and joy.
Namaste.
