Joyful Partner Yoga For Chakra Awakening - A Community Class (November 16, 2013)

Dear Friends,

Partner Yoga is all about harmonizing and connecting the mind, the energy and the body with a partner. If we are unsettled in a difficult pose by ourselves, imagine doing it with somebody else. To a competitive or an over-achieving mind, this practice will be difficult, especially when the partner is weaker or less flexible. But, have we thought about our weaknesses too? Maybe, working with us is also not easy for our partner. Partner Yoga needs to begin with a sincere connection between two persons that are willing to compliment each other. It begins with a mental intention to work together; to accept each other; to be gentle and be respectful to each other; and to make the best of each other's strength to move toward achieving the 'goal': performing a pose together.
Communication and compassion are very important. Of course, all is done in respect and openness. And when we are there - in the pose - enjoy the bliss together and feel the bond!

The fun part of Partner Yoga is experimenting with ourselves and making the impossible possible. More than we know, there is a chance of us doing a pose better with a partner.
Remember still, that nothing is too serious here. Yoga should be enjoyable and only then we would receive the sweet juice of it. Once in a while (or every while), trying to pose with a partner will create a laugh out. So, don't hold back! That is why we, in Karmarati, called it "Joyful Partner Yoga".
And here are some pictures of our friends having a blast in the session this weekend!
Happy weekend.

Peace and joy.
